Agenda for today

Oh guess what I have a rubber stamp demonstration to go to.  Doesn't that sound like fun.  That's going to be in one hour and 10 min.   So I guess putting my pictures on the computer from the fair will be put on hold for a little bit.  I will get there ladies and gents, I do have some new ideas.  My friend Jenn gave me the idea to sketch the pages I already did and create different pages with different pictures so you will get other ideas what you can do with the same layout.  :)  Oh and I will show you some of the "Cricut" di-cuts I made with the cartridges I have.  That will be fun Too!

Postings for pages

Ok, so now I have to take pictures of the pages I did before I can post them, and before I can do that I have to charge the battery on my camera so I can download them to my computer.  :)  I still have a lot of digi pictures on my computer to turn into fabulous works of Art by scrapping them in my scrapbooks.  It's nice when you download your pictures, because no matter when you download them usually your camera has already dated them when you took the picture and at least with I-photo they separate them out into categories.  Which makes scrapbooking all that  more easier to do.  :)
I still have my pictures from the fair to share, and a few pictures from going to the zoo.  Well goodnight all tomorrow is the unveiling of the pages I did at the fair Have a wonderful evening.  :) Take care. mk

I've finished my time at the fair and I met a lot of nice people too!  I may even be able to get together with some of them to do some scrapbookn' Thank you to all the people that stopped by and the names I can remember are the ones I wrote down. Laurianne from Tacoma and the other lady was really nice too, but I can't find my note with the names, She was down visiting her dad from California.  I just love family photo albums.

Saturday, I will be posting more ideas for pages as well as the ones that I created at the fair.  I hope you all enjoy.  Smile.

Scrapbook 101

I thought I would share with you this morning the information I was passing out at the fair.

ORGANIZING PHOTOS
Events, Birthday, Holiday, albums dedicated to one person, 1 year, family, friends sports, sunsets, or a category of your choice, i.e. brag books... etc..
They can be chronological.  I have forgotten some of the dates so I just do it by theme and it all works out. :)
Basic supplies for scrapbooking.
Photo Albums - The best ones I’ve found are drop in.  I also enjoy the nice sophisticated ones that already provides the background paper  for you all you have to do is embellish and add your pictures.
Glue - Tape runners are the best make sure you get the Permanent stick, and try not to press down until you have it just where you want it.  I usually lay  out how I want things to look then glue.
Scissors - (Garden Variety)
Pencil and paper. -  I always Jot a message down on paper before I write it out.  You can also prepare ahead of time and type out your messages.  Definitely have this with you when you are taking the pictures.  This is really nice when you are ready to journal.
Paper Cutter -  for cutting 12x12 sheets and cropping pictures.
Punches & Rubber stamps - Corner rounders, bling, stars, any shapes etc... use archival inks and stamp images that coincide with the theme of your album.
Design papers, Stickers, other embellishments all play a part in your scrapbooking fun.
Ideas:
Scrapbooking is an awesome way to get together with friends and family to have some quality time talking about the memories regarding you family history and/or memories accumulated over the years.

The fair

I hope everyone is able to see the posts and I hope that they will help you out
I had an awesome time demonstrating Scrapbooking at the Puyallup fair between 12:30p and 2pm.  I was able to share my ideas with Penny, we talked about the Zoo pictures we took and she showed me hers and I showed her mine.  I scrap-booked a few pages and a few more people drifted by... a real nice couple  came by and the wife was so excited about learning more about scrapbooking and about stamping.  I gave her my blog and told her I would be posting different scrapbook stores in Tacoma and a website for card ideas.  I hope to see some new faces on my blog.  Enjoy!!
