Vacationing With Dan

We had a wonderful 2 weeks off.  We went up to Point no Point to the lighthouse there, its not normally open during the week, but my friend Meagan who works in the Admin office opened it up for a private tour for Dan and myself.  It was wonderful.

We had an awesome Time, Thank you Meagan.  You are awesome.!  Then we went to Poulsbo and looked at all the antique shops I bought a new cookie cutter of a Cat.  :) great for cutting sugar cookies.  which I'm going to make a batch for cutting cookies tomorrow.  Yea!!!

One of the days we went to the ocean at ocean shores for the day.   We saw some seals out by the jetty.  It was an awesome day.


I packed us a lunch so we had lunch by the museum on the n shore.  I like it  there, because they have bird feeders and the birds are so pretty.  ;)

 This Seagull was checking Dan out.... He's such a Hottie.  Dan I mean, not the seagull.  ha ha

Dan was always trying to steel kisses from me, but I let him....  He's awesome.

Then we went down to the beach again and sat on the beach and took pictures of the waves rolling in we saw  a few pelicans fly in.  It was awesome.

Back to the Working world.... Vacation over...

I wish I was still on vacation.  But work is nice too.  I won a camera while I was gone.  Woo hoo!!!  Life of Zoe the Dog.  :)

The dishes are still incompletely cleaned, the stamp room is incompletely organized, and I still haven't tried a challenge yet.

On the upside I did take a lot of really great pictures of the Point no Point Light house, visited Poulsbo bought a new cookie cutter of a cat.  And spent some really great time with my BF Dan.  We also visited Issaquah, and Ocean Shores.  I have been relaxing the last few days.  Contemplating what I should be doing, as opposed to what I have been doing.

Ok, so maybe I'll take a little nap first.... Wait I know that won't get anything completed.  Dishes first then Nap.  :)

Wild Waves.

Every Year we have a family Picnic at Wild waves provided by work.  So this year I'm taking my BF Dan and I have one more entrance ticket and no takers.  what a bummer.  Guess I'll look at the park for someone who might want it.

Or I'll post it on line for the work people. My son changed his mind and doesn't want to go.

This always starts my Vacation off with a bang!  Two whole weeks of vacation and day trips. bummer my Bf could n't get the full time off.  He got 4 days.   I have a Dr/s apt which I am going to move to a different day and then we are planning a trip to the Peninsula  That should be fun.

I am going to take lots' of pictures.  I love taking pictures. :)

Here we are at ocean shores.  We went for the day.   We had an awesome time. :)  I love the waves!

It turned out to be an awesome sunny day too.

Puyallup Scrapbook Expo

Awe, So much fun and so little money.  I tried to be on a budget with the Scrapbook Expo.  I was very careful not to get carried away on the $1 stuff.  That stuff adds up.   And how often do you get to use it. Usually it just adds to the Craft clutter.   We were able to see everything in one day.  We didn't do any of the classes, really didn't see any thing new as far as what they were teaching, but to a new Scrap-booker they were great classes.  My one favorite find was the "elizabeth craft" Peal off stickers.  It's like a whole new way to emboss with out heating powder.  I will be showing some of what I did after I got home and the 1 make & take card that I did. Oh and for bringing my post card in I got a great door prize and $2 off it was awesome.

My phone is updating now with new software.  so downloading the picture is taking longer then reasonable.  I'm on my way to the farmers market, I'll add it when I come back.   I'm back.

The card below was my Make & Take at the "Stampn' Up!" booth.  Too cool !  ok so I messed up a little bit on the top but it is a protégé.  

This next one is I'm adding is using the stickers I bought and some "Copic" markers I have.  Oh and I also used "Stickles" glitter.  I like that stuff.

I just love these stickers and you don't even need a heat gun for these.  Big Pudding Smile!

Two Days After and my Rose is blooming

Another beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.  Roses blooming.. my roses are so beautiful!

I can hear the birds playing in the sun. What a wonderful sound.   oh wait they were at the Boise zoo.  :0)

It's Here! It's Here!! Happy 4th of July!!!

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Holiday.  Dan and I are off to his sister's house for some festivities.  I have made a scrumptious brownie desert I hope everyone enjoys.   I told Dan we could not taste it yet.  :)
