Ok I received my Mystery box! Two Krylon shortcut craft paints Red Pepper Red and Turquoise Blue, a wooden box, two cloth napkins, some wooden buttons, and some burlap.  I was asked to create with my imagination. Here's my creation:

This is a file box for my mini scrapbooks.  I love the ocean so I painted calming waves.

Taking the Red paint I painted the buttons, I used the napkin to make the white button flower on the front and back, and the burlap to make a flower.  I added a little burlap to the front.  I created the wave affect by using wavey tape and painted waves blue.  Turned out perfect!! :D #Krylon, #Shortcuts, #Walnut Hollow

Painted Coasters

I find it hard to be at my computer and do large art projects so I just have a few Gelotos and a water brush and blend the Gelotos onto some coasters that I have.  These are two that I'm currently working on.  I will probably have a few more and give them away as a christmas gift.
I will be adding some positive sayings to them as well.

Front of Journal page has a new look

Ok So I have this group I'm apart of on Facebook called Live, Love, Art Journal, and Happy Mail.  And some of them sent me some Happy Mail, and some background papers (this was a challenge I was apart of and on the happy mail too.  You take the happy mail you get and create something with it so I used both challenges to make the front of my journal page.  I'm like, I have to cover this Journal and make it look really cool.  So I cut some pieces of the envelopes they sent the stuff in, and these envelopes are decorated so cool, then I Oh and then i typed the words on my computer and printed them out and found some cool stuff in a magazine to motivate me.  Here's what I came up with.

Here is "My Better Self Journal"...

Oh and I used washi tape too.  It turned out so cute... I may have to add a little more distressing to the edges of the paper, but I like it.  what do you think?

I've already started writing in the Journal.  I have to get my days in... but walking... I think that went out the window today.  But I did garden, which is considered exercise.  and I did take out the recycling. and did some dishes.  Well bettering myself isn't only about losing that 100 pounds of tire around my waist, its about being more positive and making my environment more positive.  I think I cleaned out all the mice out of  my house.  I don't see them running across the floor at night anymore or they don't wake me up in the middle of the night with their squealing.  And I can even go in my craft room and find that everything is still in place not knocked over.... :D

My Better Self - Journal

I'm working on My Better Self Journal.  I have a muffin top that's totally not my style. And since I love who I am, I want to take care of myself.  So I'm reading self help books getting the positive working in my brain and writing down positive quotes.  I also write down how I was feeling that day and what I ate that day and how far I walked... well the walking part is hard to get out and do.  I set my alarm for 8am and then I see its raining and walking in the cold rain just scares that exercise right out of my brain.

This is an idea of what my journal may look like. I might change my mind before I glue it.

My Fall - Post

September and the State Fair is here!!

Our State fair.

This lady had a Bunny she said it was her service bunny so she was able to carry it around the fair.  It was so cute.  And what a personality.

Annette and I were at the fair together She loved the big man 12 carving and had to imitate it.

This Lady works at Verizon and saw me taking a picture of Annette and had to take advantage of a photo op.  She was with a co-worker, that used to work at Comcast with me.
So I took a picture of both of them.  We met them earlier when they tried to steel my order of food at the Cowgirl Saloon.   :D  They were so fun.
The sky is overcast so the lights on the rides were coming on early.
This is my favorite ride of the fair.  I haven't been able to ride it yet.
Annette and I at the fair. Our selfie.

Another Sea Hawks player Annette likes.  She's a Fan!!
The Sea Shore Christmas Tree won big awards at the fair.
The cute Sand dollars creatively made.

Cute card entered at the fair.
